Day 1: Calgary

Upon arrival in Calgary, we will be picked up at the airport and then transferred to the hotel. We can enjoy our free time leisurely for the rest day.

Calgary is a fun city surrounded by natural landscapes, most notable Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. The local area offers stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. It is accessible via Vancouver, Seattle and other Canadian cities.

  • Outdoors:

    1. Walk North through Banff Town towards the Banff Sign, where you can take a picture to share with your loved ones.Next to the sign, you'll notice a trail that eventually meets with the Bow River.This trail will take you back to down or you can continue following it past Central Park, under the car bridge toward the Banff Pedestrian Bridge.Cross the pedestrian bridge and you'll find yourself at a fork. Turn left/South East towards the Art In Nature Trail. This will also eventually take you to the Bow Falls and the Banff Springs Hotel.

    2. Just North of the Banff Sign is Fenland trail. A 2.1 km loop with creekside paths, wooden bridgets, and towering spruce trees.

Day 3: Marble Canyon - Emerald Lake - Natural Bridge - Lunch at Lake Louise Village - Lake Louise (191 km)

First stop is Marble Canyon, where rushing waters carve through dramatic limestone walls, creating a striking natural wonder. Continue west into Yoho National Park to visit the quiet beauty of Emerald Lake, its turquoise waters reflecting the surrounding peaks and forests. Nearby, discover the Natural Bridge, a powerful rock formation shaped by the relentless force of the Kicking Horse River. Enjoy a relaxing lunch stop at Lake Louise Village with an optional Grill & Bar Set Lunch (Asian or Western menu available, additional charges apply) before heading to the breathtaking Lake Louise. Spend an hour taking in its iconic turquoise waters, framed by the majestic Victoria Glacier and the elegant Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Continue your journey to Banff Town, where boutique shops, cozy cafes, and mountain charm invite you to explore.

Kootenay National Park is located in southeastern British Columbia Canada, covering 1,406 km² in the Canadian Rockies, and forms part of a World Heritage Site.

  • A canyon surrounding Tokumm Creek just above its confluence with the Vermilion River, at the north end of Kootenay National Park in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, Canada.

  • The Emerald Lake in British Columbia, Canada's Yoho National Park is the largest of the park's many lakes and one of the park's most popular spots. The lake is named for the spectacular turquoise color of the water.

  • The Kicking Horse River, a Canadian Heritage river, in the Yoho park, has created a natural bridge through solid rock. This formation is located 3 km west of Field, accessible from the road to Emerald Lake.

Day 4: Bow Lake - Peyto Lake - Icefield Parkway - Lake Louise Village Lunch Time - Vermillion Outlook - Lake Minnewanka - Two Jack Lake (82 km)

The first stop is Bow Lake, admired for its stunning alpine waters framed by towering mountains. Continue to Peyto Lake, world-famous for its unique maple-leaf shape. The viewpoint offers outstanding photography opportunities, and in winter includes a short guided hike (Ice cleats are provided during winter months). Along the way, enjoy views of the dramatic Crowfoot Glacier, a striking highlight of the Parkway. Next, enjoy lunch time in Lake Louise Village (optional at own expense). In the afternoon, visit the Vermilion Lakes Viewpoint, where in winter the frozen lake surface reflects the majestic Mount Rundle, creating postcard-perfect scenery. Continue on to Lake Minnewanka, where under the right winter conditions you may see the magical “frozen bubble” phenomenon beneath the ice. The journey also includes a stop at the tranquil Two Jack Lake.

  • Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.

  • Along the way, stop at [Peyto Lake] for its beautiful shape like a Maple (If the attraction is under maintenance or other force majeure, we will go to Waterflow Lake as an alternative attraction)

  • Crowfoot Glacier is located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada, 32 km (20 mi) northwest of Lake Louise, and can be viewed from the Icefields Parkway. The glacier is situated on the northeastern flank of Crowfoot Mountain.

  • The lake comes from the sulfur hot springs of the nearby Sulfur Mountain, so the riverbed is cinnabar brown, and the shore is swampy, with a natural smell of sulfur in the slimy mud. Here, as long as you look up, you will see the pretty Rundle Mountain.

  • This glacial lake is the longest in the Canadian Rockies at 21 kilometers long. The lake is fed by several streams and rivers, most notably the Cascade River.

    Duration: Approx. 20 Minutes

  • Located to the northeast of the town of Banff, Two Jack lake offers some of the area's best camping, hiking, and boating opportunities. From the lake, visitors have an impeccable view of Lundahl Mountain.

Day 5: Banff - Icefields Parkway - Jasper (No tour guide service) (288 km)

Enjoy half free day in Banff. Please wait at the hotel lobby from 14:30 - 14:45PM to board the Banff - Jasper bus, heading to Jasper National Park. We will travel along the famous Icefields Parkway, recognized as one of the "Top 10 Scenic Drives in the World" by National Geographic. Along the way, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking winter scenery with everything covered in a blanket of glistening snow.

We will arrive in Jasper Town at approximately 6:30-7:00 PM in the evening. With the addition of winter snow, the town takes on a magical ambiance.

**Banff - Jasper bus: Each passenger is allowed to bring 1 piece of carry-on luggage (7kg), 1 piece of checked luggage (23kg), and 1 personal item. Additional luggage requests will incur an extra fee. SUNDOG, additional luggage is CAD$15+GST per item, ski equipment is CAD$40+GST per item, can be paid on the bus.

Day 6: Jasper - VIA National Rail (No tour guide service) (532 km)

Depart from Jasper Hotel at approximately 08:00 am in the morning. Drop off at Canada National Rail VIA station (The departure time is subject to the final notification from Jasper Railway Station, please go to the railway station to check in at least 1 hour in advance)

The train departs at 09:30 am (there is no driver-guide service on the train), and you will start the special Rocky Mountain train Brigade - 800 kilometers of magnificent mountains and rivers along the way, allowing you to enjoy the scenery of the Rocky Mountains. At night we will across the Fraser Valley to the low land plain. Overnight on the VIA train.
