Day 1: Seoul

Touring Gyeongbokgung Palace in Hanbok(A traditional Korean clothing that has been worn for centuries), where we'll learn the traditional way of life in Korea at The National Folk Museum of Korea. Then visit the Bukchon Hanok Village, date back to the Joseon dynasty. After that, experience modern life at Insadong and Dongdaemun Design Plaza

Seoul is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea.   • This palace in Seoul was once the main palace of the Joseon dynasty, built in 1395. Within, visitors will be able to find the National Palace Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum.

  • Located within the grounds of the Gyeongbokgung Palace, it uses replicas of historical objects to illustrate the history of traditional life of the Korean people.

  • A Korean traditional village in Seoul with a long history located on the top of a hill between Gyeongbok Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo Royal Shrine. The traditional village is composed of lots of alleys, hanok and is preserved to show a 600-year-old urban environment.

  • A dong, or neighborhood of the Jongno-gu district of Seoul. The main street is Insadong-gil. At one time it was the largest market for antiques and artworks in Korea.

  • A major urban development landmark in Seoul, the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub and popular tourist destination, featuring a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores and restored parts of the Seoul fortress.
