Day 1: London

Today, we will take a walking tour through London, visiting Big Ben, the House of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing Street, Whitehall, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, and the River Thames. In the afternoon, we will visit the famous British Museum and St. Paul's Cathedral, if we have time. We will also be able to see great views of the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London while sitting in the coach. We will have many entertainment options available to us in the evening.

The capital city of both England and the United Kingdom has been a focal point of Western civilization for centuries. This amazing city in the British Isles is famous for places like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster Abbey.

  • "Big Ben" is actually the name of the bell inside the clocktower located at the northern end of Westminster Palace. The tower itself is officially known as "Elizabeth Tower." It is one of England's most recognizable landmarks.

Day 2: London - Cambridge - York (293 km)

It is time to visit the nation's acclaimed educational institution: Cambridge University. The University of Cambridge, a majestic old group of buildings including King’s College and Queens College, set among the most rural of bridges. You continue your journey to York, a true medieval melting pot of Roman, Saxon and Viking culture. The city is mostly intact from the Middle Ages and shows the rustic side of Britain. You visit York Minster, the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe. Then you will step up onto York city walls, dating back to Roman times. For those keen to discover little grass-roots shops, there will be time to wander around.

  • A collegiate public research university in Cambridge founded in 1209. It is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university.

Day 3: York - Edinburgh - Glasgow (326 km)

After leaving York, we will arrive in Edinburgh in the afternoon. Upon arrive, we will visit Edinburgh Castle. After that, we will continue to City Hall and the Holyrood Palace. We will also get the chance to stop at the cafe where J.K. Rowling wrote much of the beloved Harry Potter series. Later on, we will continue to Glasgow, where we will spend the night.

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, to the north of England in the United Kingdom. Learn about the area's proud history at the National Museum of Scotland, and tour the Royal Yacht Britannia and Arthur's Seat.

Day 4: Glasgow - Gretna Green - Lake District National Park - Manchester (396 km)

In the morning, we will drive to the Lake District. On the way, we will stop in Greta Green, a village in the south of Scotland famous for the number of runaway marriages that seek refuge here. Afterwards, we will reach the Lake District National Park, You can choose our optional to join boat cruise of Lake Windermere, or hop off to the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. From then onwards we are driving to Manchester, where we can visit Old Trafford, the stadium that is home to Manchester United.

Day 6: Swindon - Bibury - Bath - Swindon (123 km)

Day 7: Swindon - Salisbury - Windsor - London (312 km)

In the morning, we depart to Stonehenge. It is the cultural relic of the world's prehistoric era and the first United Nations World Heritage site in the UK. An unsolved mystery in the archaeological world that attracts 1 million people globally to visit every year. After the tour, we head to Windsor Castle.
